Clayton discovered the craft of bladesmithing

Understanding the importance of heat treat he began studying metallurgy 

He dedicated himself to learning ancient smelting techniques and went into being a full time bladesmith

Clayton began demonstraging tamahagane

He figured out a repeatable process for wootz and began producing it.

Clayton competed on the show Forged In Fire; finishing as the runner up

Clayton began touring the west coast teaching workshops in bladesmithing, blacksmithing, and steel making

Clayton continues studying and teaching the craft, instructing classes at Grizzly Iron and sharing the craft, helping to culminate the local forging community
